More than 200 adesso AG employees kept themselves healthy and did something for a good cause at the same time by taking part in a number of company runs last year. The IT service provider made a fixed donation for every employee who came to the starting line, resulting in a total of EUR 5,000 being raised for Clean Winners e.V., a not-for-profit organisation that can use the donation to expand its sports education activities.

adesso introduces talented IT students to the world of real-life projects

The IT service provider adesso AG has developed a new format for recruiting new talent: the rotating internship for students. The first graduates presented the results of their internship to adesso CEO Michael Kenfenheuer, their supervising mentors, their professors and members of the press today in Munich.

adesso AG has successfully completed the Trinity Live project for the Society for Musical Performing and Mechanical Reproduction Rights GEMA (Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte). A complex software solution was developed over a period of twelve months. It enables GEMA to efficiently allocate and evaluate musical works that have been performed and to distribute the revenue collected from live events to the authors entitled to royalties.

As part of a group-wide plan to modernise its inventory control system for life insurance, Generali in Germany has decided in favour of using PSLife from the adesso in|sure product family. The first group company to use the software for mapping new business will be AachenMünchener Lebensversicherung AG.

adesso AG is pooling its in|sure product family insurance portfolio at its subsidiary adesso insurance solutions GmbH. An agreement was signed yesterday on the merger of subsidiary PSLife Consulting GmbH with adesso insurance solutions GmbH. All PSLife Consulting GmbH employees will work at adesso insurance solutions GmbH in future. The former managing director of PSLife Consulting, Harald Narloch, will join the management team of adesso insurance solutions GmbH (ais).

The IT service provider adesso was commissioned by Bavarian state capital Munich to develop a new online portal. The “Soziales Wohnen Online” housing platform was successfully implemented in September 2016 and handed over to the city for regular operation. The city of Munich aims to further enhance its customer service with the new offering focused on citizens.

At a roadshow in Germany and Switzerland, adesso and Intland Software are demonstrating how medical and pharmaceutical companies can fulfil industry regulations and ensure CSV-compliant systems during software development. The event for interested customers is scheduled for late November 2016. It will be stopping at adesso’s offices in Munich, Zurich, Frankfurt, Berlin and Hamburg.

adesso AG is continuing its course of expansion and is opening four new offices. A new office in Nuremberg has just been launched, and offices in Aachen, Essen and Hanover will be opened later this year. At the beginning of 2017, when the IT provider celebrates its 20th anniversary, adesso AG will have a total of 13 offices in Germany. adesso is also represented in Austria, Switzerland and Turkey with foreign subsidiaries.

The IT service provider adesso AG has acquired flitcon GmbH. By taking over a 100 % stake in the business intelligence specialist based in Düren, adesso has expanded its portfolio to include technologies and services that are of essential importance, particularly for banks and insurance companies.
