As adesso Schweiz AG continues to grow, it is steadily expanding its industry expertise. Ralf Klappert has been the new Head of Business Line Health and a member of the extended management board since March 2022. He brings with him many years of experience in the healthcare sector and in digital platform development. In his new role at adesso, he and his team will focus on supporting customers in the healthcare sector in all aspects of their digital projects. Because the Swiss healthcare system lags significantly behind other countries in terms of digitalisation, much work lies ahead to catch up. This places a number of new challenges on healthcare institutions within a short period of time. Examples of this include the compulsory rollout of electronic patient health records and the current political debate on a national electronic vaccination card. Other healthcare digitalisation initiatives are expected soon, which are also urgently needed.
