adesso increases number of employees to 5,000

adesso continues unabated. The company is not only expecting sales to exceed EUR 500 million for the first time this financial year, but will also be welcoming the 5,000th adesso Group employee in November. Averaging some 90 new employees per month, 2020 saw adesso set a new recruitment record in the company’s 23-year history.

Within three and a half years, adesso has doubled in size. In 2020, the IT service provider can post a recruitment record with around 90 new hires per month, thus reaching the 5,000 employee mark*. adesso Schweiz AG has also made its contribution to this remarkable result. With 63 new employees since the beginning of this year, the Swiss subsidiary has already exceeded the number of recruitments of 2019 in mid-November. An increase in new hires of 15 to 20 percent compared to the previous year is expected. In total, adesso Switzerland employs about 300 people.

As employee no. 5,000, Manja Dathe-Marchlewitz (43) will be getting started in the Public Administration business area. With this new hire, adesso underscores its dedication to the She for IT women’s initiative which aims to attract more female IT professionals to the company, especially for executive positions. Coach of the German women’s national soccer team, Martina Voss-Tecklenburg, is the patron of the campaign. Manja Dathe-Marchlewitz is looking forward to “developing and advancing exciting digitalisa-tion projects for the public sector in an environment as growth-oriented as can be found at adesso”.
