adesso and Microsoft have enjoyed a successful and intensive partnership for many years. For example, adesso possesses all 18 available Microsoft Competencies, including 16 at Gold level. This gives the company a unique selling point in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) in terms of the breadth and depth of the Microsoft technologies covered. Accordingly, this portfolio of services, which covers the Microsoft Power Platform, digital workplace and customer management, cloud computing and business intelligence, enterprise resource planning, artificial intelligence and the Internet of things, is also in demand among adesso customers. adesso’s Microsoft competence has also recently convinced the Swiss federal authorities. For example, the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT) is seeking external help in the Microsoft area (specifically in individual .NET software development and its lifecycle management) in a public tender with a total maximum procurement volume of over CHF 117 million. Thanks to its comprehensive Microsoft competence, adesso has secured contracts for both sub-areas and will support the FOITT in the coming years as a .NET partner.

adesso achieves success in the Microsoft area
The consulting and IT service provider adesso is currently highly successful in the Microsoft environment. In addition to being awarded two extensive contracts by the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication in the area of .NET development, adesso recently announced the acquisition of Hauertmann IT-Consulting. This asset deal further emphasises adesso’s position as one of Microsoft’s most powerful partners.
In order to cover this Microsoft competence internally with sufficient resources, adesso con-cluded an asset deal a few days ago. Forty-five experts from the Dortmund-based company Hauertmann IT-Consulting will join the Microsoft Gold Partner. Hauertmann IT-Consulting’s previous managing director and founder, Michael Hauertmann, will lead adesso’s new ‘Agile’ Competence Centre in the Microsoft business division in future. For Hauertmann and his team, this will offer new and promising prospects for the future: “We have gone from being a small IT company to being part of an exciting environment that is strongly committed to growth. As part of the internationally operating adesso Group, we can be involved in other in-teresting projects on a different scale.”
