As Managing Consultant Business Automation, you will act as a strategic partner to our clients and play a key role in designing, delivering, and advancing consulting and software development projects in the field of business automation. You will contribute your expertise to strengthen our project delivery excellence, mentor colleagues, and help shape our business growth in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
YOUR ROLE
- Drive consulting and software development projects in the area of business automation — from initial design to successful implementation.
- Act as a trusted advisor for key customers and translate business needs into sustainable automation solutions.
- Ensure delivery excellence across quality, time, and budget dimensions.
- Support the professional development of project managers and consultants through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to business development and client acquisition in the Romandie region.
- Promote innovation and best practices in automation and platform consulting.
- Collaborate with senior management to shape strategy and strengthen adesso’s presence in the French-speaking market.
YOUR SKILLS - WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in IT project management, consulting, or business transformation — ideally including responsibility for teams or complex customer projects.
- Background: Degree in (business) informatics, economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to guide, influence, and support team members in their development.
- Business Acumen: Strong skills in platform consulting, solution sales, and business development.
- Language Skills: Fluent French (C1/C2) is mandatory; good English skills are required.
- Regional Fit: Well connected and rooted in the Romandie business ecosystem.
- Methodological Expertise: Certification such as IPMA®, PMP®, or Hermes Advanced is an advantage.
- Personality: Strategic thinker, dynamic communicator, and trusted partner who inspires confidence and drives results.
