adesso hosting services (ahs) was founded in 2013 and has been providing hosting and cloud services for the secure operation of individual business-critical applications since that time. At the same time, application management and managed services were being provided by various parts of the adesso Group. For example, a subdivision of ARITHNEA GmbH, also an adesso subsidiary, has been operating and maintaining e-commerce applications for its customers for many years.
The new company, adesso as a service (3as), will merge adesso hosting services’ hosting and cloud services with the application management and managed services offerings of the adesso Group. For this purpose, the employees who are currently working for ARITHNEA and other companies and divisions at the IT service provider will become employees of adesso as a service. adesso as a service GmbH will be headed by Andrej Konkow together with the former managing director of ahs, Joachim Seidler. Konkow previously headed the IT Service and Application Management division at ARITHNEA.
“With adesso as a service, we can provide a complete portfolio for the operation and responsible maintenance of business-critical applications – for all of adesso’s core sectors, and regardless of the application type,” Konkow explains. “Our customers benefit from an all-inclusive service from a single source that ranges from hosting and application management to managed services and helpdesk services.”
